HOW DO YOU BECOME A POSTPARTUM DOULA?
While there are not any requirements to being a postpartum doula, it is possible to be certified as a postpartum doula. The largest organization in the US offering this certification is DONA which requires participants to read several books, take a breastfeeding class, take a postpartum doula course, create a local resource list, perform services for several families and obtain evaluations from those families, and finally, an essay must be written. Once all of these items are completed and paperwork submitted, certification can be obtained.
WHAT ARE YOUR COVID PROTOCOLS?
I am fully vaccinated - this includes COVID but also all other regular vaccinations. Â That being said, it is a priority for me to keep your family and mine safe and healthy. Â I will wear a mask when with any clients but I do not require my clients to wear masks. Â In the event of ANY illness in a client's home or in my own, we will make arrangements to postpone any planned visits or perform digital visits as needed until everyone is healthy.

Currently I do not offer birth services but prenatal services are an option.
